Blue Barn Pet & Hobby Farm is 100% BC-owned and has locations in Castlegar, Terrace and Osoyoos as well as the e-commerce store BlueBarn.Shop.
Our goal is to offer excellent customer service along with a large variety of pet products at competitive prices. Community Fundraising Activities
Pet Food Challenge
For the past several years in April, we’ve hosted the Pet Food Challenge. One pound of pet food is donated to local pet charities for every 10 lbs of food sold. So far, we’ve donated over 10 tons of food to pets in need. Special thanks to our brand partners who make this possible.
Fundraising Calendar
Every fall we unveil our Fundraising Calendar that’s packed with dozens of pet photos submitted by pet parents from across Canada. ALL of the proceeds from the sale of the calendar are donated to BC charities. We’ve raised over $50,000 with this project in the last two years. From January to June of each year we accept photo submissions for our Photo Contest.

Pet Adoption Coupon Book
If you’re looking to add a new pet to your family, please consider rescuing a homeless pet.
We offer a Pet Adoption Coupon Book if you adopt from a registered charity. Each book has a value of over $400 on food, treats and supplies. To get your coupon book just visit one of our locations. Sorry, but this program is not yet available online.
