Description
Originally known as “Pekin” bantams these delightful birds arrived from China with returning soldiers around 1860. Cochins are heavily feathered down the shanks and toes and appear to be much larger than they actually are. They are very gentle, excellent setters, require little space, are absolutely beautiful to look at. Each feather is rich, golden-bay laced with lustrous greenish-black creating a broad oval with a golden bay center.
